A Singular Focus on Righting Wrongs
Miller Injury Trial Law is the right choice for outstanding legal representation.
Miller Injury Trial Law is a boutique trial law firm with a specialized practice that focuses on complex cases in personal injury matters.
Founding partner Tanya F. Miller has an extensive academic background and a passion for trying tough cases in the courtroom. Ms. Miller is graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, a highly selective law program located in Cleveland, Ohio, founded in 1892 and one of the first schools to be accredited by the American Bar Association, in 1921. She was chosen to clerk for the Honorable Solomon Oliver, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Federal clerkships are quite prestigious, reserved for the top academic performers in law school, and designed to provide young attorneys a unique opportunity to see and understand how judges adjudicate cases. Ms. Miller was privileged to serve Judge Oliver, who was, himself, the last federal law clerk for Judge William H. Hastie, the first African-American appointed to a federal judgeship. Appointed by President Truman in 1949 and confirmed by the Senate in 1950, Judge Hastie served in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
It is a great honor to follow in such distinguished footsteps.
Ms. Miller began in private practice, as an associate at the international law firm Jones Day in its Cleveland office, but soon felt drawn to the pursuit of public priorities. Her work as both a prosecutor and as a defense attorney gives her deep insight into investigative procedures and trial strategies.
She has served as Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York, widely considered among the nation’s premier legal institutions. As Chief Senior District Attorney in the Major Crimes Division of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, Miller remained undefeated in her prosecution of murder cases. In private practice since 2013, Miller specializes in personal injury and civil rights litigation, and she has prevailed in cases throughout the metro area in state and federal courts. A skilled and outspoken communicator, she appears regularly on CNN and other media outlets as a trusted legal analyst and commentator.
Miller Injury Trial Law has quickly established itself as firm to watch, with high-profile successes in complex cases.
